BOYS’ SENIOR CAPTAINS READY FOR THE PLAYOFFS AFTER A SEASON OF TURMOIL

The Twentynine Palms Wildcat varsity boys’ basketball team stands at an overall record of 20-5 and have clinched a playoff spot in the southern section. The Wildcats have battled through adversity, losing three of their coaches mid-season, but didn’t let that slow them down. Despite those losses, they still managed to keep it together and pull off several league wins. The Wildcats now plan on bringing this momentum into the playoffs to make a run at a CIF championship, which hasn’t been done in many years. This has been a goal for senior captains Jimmy Shragge, Kyle Hope, Demetrius Holmes, and Andrew Wilson since their freshman year, and they don’t see themselves coming up short.
