The Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Desert will honor and recognize achievements at its annual awards and board installation dinner. Awards will be presented to the Youth of the Year, Junior Youth of the Year, the Roy Greenleaf Award, Volunteer of the Year and Angel Awards, and Sports and Program Awards. Special guest speakers include Cub and Steve Swanson, MMA Fighters, and former Club kids. The event will be held Wednesday, January 29 at 6 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club, 56525 Little League Drive in Yucca Valley, Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children.
