The body of a missing 75-year-old Joshua Tree woman was found in a rugged area North of Yucca Valley at about 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25. Carol Vogel was found by a search party after being reported missing Wednesday afternoon. Her sister, Melinda Madaras, told Z107.7 News that Vogel’s caretaker had called her after not hearing from Vogel for a couple of days. Madaras reported Vogel missing and her car was spotted near Luna Vista Lane Friday night. Madaras said the death is being called suspicious and the body of Carol Vogel is being taken to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office to determine a cause of death.
