BLUE SKIES PROPERTY PURCHASED BY HI-DESERT PUBLISHING COMPANY OWNER

The former Blue Skies Country Club property in Yucca Valley was purchased Tuesday afternoon by Hi-Desert Publishing company owner Bill Brehm Sr. In a story by Courtney Vaughn in today’s Hi-Desert Star, Brehm, chairman of the board of Brehm Communications Incorporated, bought the former golf course at a trustee sale auction in Chino yesterday. Purchase of the property was a long-awaited move after the site sat dormant and deteriorating for years. “We have a lot of work ahead of us, but we are excited to move forward and restore the golf course into one that Yucca Valley can be proud of,” Brehm Sr. said Tuesday. Brehm Sr. has been a supporter of Morongo Basin projects since the 1970s. He is the primary donor of the under-construction Brehm Youth Sports Complex in Yucca Valley.
