BIZARRE VANDALISM AS JEEP RAMS YUCCA VALLEY HOUSE

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a bizarre case of vandalism at a Yucca Valley house. According to a Sheriff’s report, the owners of a home in the 57900 block of San Andreas Road have reported that several times over the last two weeks, an unknown suspect has driven onto their property in the middle of the night, honked several times, and deposited random items of trash at the front door. Then Friday, April 1, at about 10:20 p.m., someone drove up to the front door in a 2004 or 2005 Jeep Liberty with a dark gray plastic bumper, and left more trash. Then the suspect drove down the street, turned around, intentionally accelerated up the victim’s driveway, and crashed into the house, causing about $3,000 to $5,000 in damage. The Jeep then fled the scene northbound on San Diego Drive with substantial damage to the front driver’s side of the vehicle.
