A tribute band for the most popular surf band will be playing Tortoise Rock Casino Friday night during the Live at the Rock free concert series. Woodie and the Longboards will play hits, such as “Surfin’ Safari,” “Surfing USA,” “Little Deuce Coupe,” “Good Vibrations,” and “California Girls.” The free concert starts at 8 p.m. on the outdoor stage at Tortoise Rock Casino on Baseline Road in Twentynine Palms.
