AUDITIONS FOR “URINETOWN, THE MUSICAL” AT THEATRE 29 TONIGHT AT 7

The edgy, new Broadway hit “Urinetown the Musical” is being cast tonight at Theatre 29. Here’s entertainment reporter Rebecca Havely to tell you how to prepare…
Theater 29 director Gary Daigneault and his team seek several performers for the cast of “Urinetown the Musical.” They will cast 10 men and six women from ages 20 to 65, with several roles available for men 50 and over. Open auditions are tonight, Monday, January 12, at 7 p.m. at Theater 29. Choreographer Mandi Pushkar asks that you dress comfortably and be ready to move. Musical Director Ed Will asks that you bring a backup CD of a Broadway tune or a digital copy on your smart phone or mp3 device. The director has posted sides from the script on the Theatre’s website at theatre29.org where you can also find info on show tickets, prices, times and more. If you would like to volunteer back stage for this production please show up at auditions tonight at Theatre 29, 73637 Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms. “Urinetown the Musical” will run five consecutive weekends from February 27 through March 28.
