AUDITIONS FOR “MARY POPPINS” SET AT THEATRE 29

The first major musical of the 2017 season at Theatre 29 is “Disney’s Mary Poppins.” Open auditions are set for Monday, January 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Theatre 29. The roles being cast include 14 lead and featured players, eight ensemble and featured dancers, and two children. Please prepare 32 bars of a Broadway-style song, no pop please. Provide background music on an electronic device or on a CD. Dress to move; tap experience a plus. “Disney’s Mary Poppins,” directed by Gary Daigneault with musical direction by Bill Barrett will open on March 3 and run four consecutive weekends through March 26 with a possible hold over to April 2.
