AT LEAST 10 BURGLARIES REPORTED IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

At least 10 burglaries were reported in Twentynine Palms last weekend. In addition, residents in the 6400 block of Desert Queen Avenue and 6600 block of Smoke Tree Avenue, reported break-ins of their homes. Some of the stolen items include handguns and cash. The residents in the 73500 block of Joshua Drive said they went out to pick up pizza and when they returned about 6:20 p.m., they saw an unknown man run out their door, jump a picket fence, and run to the west.
On Saturday, burglaries were reported in the 6000 block of Ocotillo Avenue, 73600 block of Sun Valley Drive, and 73400 block of Two Mile Road. Some of the items reported stolen include a shotgun, electronics, dirt bikes, and tools.
And on Friday, New Year’s Day, a burglary was reported in the 6300 block of Smoke Tree Avenue.
