The Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Commission will hold a reception for the opening of its members’ show on Friday, October 2, from 5 to 8 at the 29 Palms Art Gallery in Twentynine Palms. Artists who are participating in the annual Open Studio Art Tours will have one piece of art on display at the gallery Wednesdays through Sundays from September 30 through October 26. The opening reception will feature food, art, and live music. The gallery is open noon to 3 p.m. and is located at the intersection of Cottonwood Drive and National Park Drive.
