A Yucca Valley woman was arrested late Saturday night after her husband said she punched him multiple times in his head. According to a Sheriff’s report, Jennifer Wood, 28, was arguing with her husband about 11 p.m. in the 7700 block of Acoma Trail. The report states the husband attempted to de-escalate the argument by walking away, which is when Wood allegedly punched him in the back of his head and three times to the side of his face. The victim suffered bruising, swelling, and scratches. After an investigation, Jennifer Wood was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, and released on a $50,000 bail bond.
