ARMED ROBBERY IN YUCCA VALLEY EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Flyer’s gas station in Yucca Valley. According to a Sheriff’s report, two men entered the convenience store in the 56200 block of 29 Palms Highway, about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday while several people were inside shopping. The men brandished a gun and robbed the clerk. No shots were fired and the suspects fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
