ANOTHER SPATE OF BURGLARIES IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

At least six more residences and businesses in Twentynine Palms reported burglaries last week. According to a Sheriff’s report, sometime between Tuesday and Thursday, thieves stole at least two packages off the front porch of a home in the 6600 block of Palo Verde Avenue. The resident of a home in the 6900 block of Canyon Road reported that sometime between Thursday and Saturday, someone threw a cinder block through a window of the home and ransacked it. A business in the 6800 block of Adobe Road was burglarized between Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning, and a chainsaw was stolen. Burglars also hit a home in the 73800 block of South Slope Drive sometime between Thursday and Sunday and stole televisions and electronics. A home in the 73600 block of Sunnyvale Drive was broken into Saturday night and ransacked, with several items stolen. And thieves broke into a car in the 6300 block of Mesquite Springs Road Friday night and stole personal items.
