A Joshua Tree woman whose blood alcohol content was nearly four times the legal limit was arrested Thursday evening. According to a Sheriff’s report, a motorist called 911 to report that a woman, identified as Susan Finn, 29, was lying in the road at Hillview and Highway 62 about 9:30 p.m. Finn, who was barely coherent due to her intoxication, told the deputy she had been assaulted by her former boyfriend. After an investigation, the deputy determined that Finn had kicked in the door to her ex-boyfriend’s residence, and that she started fighting the people at the home when they told her to leave. Susan Finn was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public; booked at the Morongo Basin Jail where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .304.
