The Land Use Committee of the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council is having a field trip on Monday. The committee will inspect the area for the proposed 248 house gated community – the Alta Mira Project — in Joshua Tree. The meeting place will be on Alta Loma Drive, just west of Friendly Hills Elementary school on the north side of the street, Monday January 20th at 9am Monday. After the inspection the groupp will return to the county government center at Whitefeather Road for a short meeting and discussion. The public is invited to attend and join the discussion.
