A WARRANT SEARCH RESULTS IN ARREST OF ANOTHER ON WARRANTS

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Sunday during a warrant search for another suspect. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies went to a home in the 7500 block of Hopi Trail about 12:40 p.m. with an arrest warrant for another man. During a search of the home, deputies located Tricia Moore, 25, who had a warrant for her arrest for petty theft. Tricia was arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $25,000. Hiding behind a closed door in the garage was Keith Hunt, 32, who has a warrant for his arrest for a parole violation. Inside Hunt’s backpack were multiple shotgun shells; as a convicted felon, Hunt is not allowed to have ammunition. Keith Hunt was arrested on his warrant and for investigation of possession of ammunition, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $35,000.
