An 8-year-old boy drowned in a Desert Hot Springs hotel swimming pool Friday evening. Issac Moore had gone to a pool party at the Vista Ventana Spa and Resort Friday in the 66500 block of 6th Street. Paramedics were called to the extended-stay hotel about 9:30 p.m. for an unresponsive boy who had been pulled from the pool. Issac Moore was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs where he was pronounced deceased. He is survived by his parents, an older brother, and a younger sister. A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help with funeral expenses.
