22 LOCAL CANDIDATES CONFIRM FOR Z107.7 POLITICAL POP-UP SATURDAY

Come meet the local non-partisan candidates for Joshua Basin Water District, Hi-Desert Water District, Hi-Desert Medical Center, the Morongo Unified School District, Yucca Valley Town Council, and Twentynine Palms City Council. Z107.7 Radio and the Sportsmanā€™s Club are sponsoring a non-partisan office political pop-up event this Saturday, from 9 to 11 a.m. The free event is designed to give residents a chance to talk with the candidates prior to the November 4 general election. Candidates who have confirmed so far are:
Yucca Valley Town Council: Ron Cohen, Charles McHenry, Rick Dennison, Susan Simmons, and Lori Herbel.
Twentynine Palms City Council: Dan Mintz, Jim Harris, Adam Lunn, Bill Easter, MacArthur Wright, and John Cole.
Hi-Desert Water District: Margo Sturges and Gina Orban.
School Board: Doris Lawless, Chris Proudfoot, Hillary Slotta, Gary Horn, and Dr. Cindy MacVay.
Joshua Basin Water District: Vic Fuller, Rebecca Unger, and Bob Johnson.
Tables will be set up by office at the Joshua Tree Sportsman Club on Sunburst Avenue Saturday morning from 9-11. Candidates can bring campaign materials and displays.
