19-YEAR-OLD TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN KILLED IN A SINGLE CAR ROLLOVER

A 19-year-old Twentynine Palms man was killed last night in a single car rollover crash. Investigators say Monday, January 20, at about 6:46 p.m., deputies were called to Gold Park Road near Bedouin Avenue in Twentynine Palms for a single-vehicle traffic collision. Deputies discovered a Hyundai sedan had been travelling northbound on Gold Park Road when the driver lost control, causing the Hyundai to collide with a dirt berm. The Hyundai overturned and the male front passenger was ejected from the vehicle. The victim was transported to Hi-Desert Medical Center by Morongo Basin Ambulance, where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim’s identification is being withheld pending notification of family by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
