A 15-year-old boy sustained a possible broken leg when he was hit by a truck in Yucca Mesa Monday evening. According to County Fire Battalion Chief Scott Tuttle, the boy was walking his bicycle westbound on Aberdeen Drive about 5:10 p.m. near El Dorado Avenue. The driver of a truck, also traveling westbound on Aberdeen, didn’t see the boy and hit him. The boy was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs with non-life-threatening injuries.
