$14,000 IN PROPERTY STOLEN FROM A JOSHUA TREE CONEX BOX

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a burglary of a Conex storage container in Joshua Tree. According to a Sheriff’s report, sometime in the last month, suspects cut a hole through a chain link fence in the 3000 block of Foxy Flats and cut the locks off a 40-foot-long storage container on the property. The owner told deputies tools and construction equipment were stolen, valued at nearly $14,000. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
